Gimme the Money
Rules
Guess wisely. React quickly. Grab the most cash!
Quick Facts:
3-8 Players
5 minutes
Party Game
Objective: Claim the most stacks of money every round!
1. Set Up
Deal 9 cards face-up in a grid–these are the starting stacks. The remaining deck is held by the dealer (who also participates in the game).

2. How to Play
Clockwise around the table, the dealer asks each player to point to a stack and predict whether the next card flipped up will be “Over or Under?” the top card of the stack they chose. The dealer must flip the card away from them so they can’t see it before other players.
-
“Over” - Player thinks the dealt card will be a higher value than the top card of the stack.
-
“Under” - Player thinks the dealt card will be lower.
-
If player predicts the over/under correctly they are safe and it is simply the next player’s turn.
-
If player ties the top card of the stack–they claim the stack and add it face-down into their wallet.
-
If player predicts incorrectly, the first person to shout out, “Gimme the Money!” and slap the stack keeps it and adds it to their wallet.
-
If a player ever shouts out, “Gimme the Money!” or slaps a stack incorrectly during the game every other player steals 1 card from their wallet (without looking through it).
Play until all 9 stacks are claimed, or until the deck runs out. The round is over. If the deck runs out, unclaimed stacks on the table are not scored.

3. How to Play Cut-Throat Version
Want to play a game with no rest for the wicked? Follow all the rules above with this one significant change: Instead of quietly claiming the stack when you tie a card, the first person to shout “Gimme the Money!” claims it.

4. Scoring
The player with the most amount of money in their wallet wins. Tally up scores for extended play.

-
If a Pyramid or Eagle flips up on your turn, steal one card from each player’s wallet, without looking, or:
-
Pyramid = look through each person’s wallet and take the highest card
-
Eagle = take one card from each player without looking through their wallets
-
-
What to do with the joker after it is flipped:
-
Add the joker to your wallet although its value is $0 during the scoring stage.
-
If a Pyramid or Eagle happens to be flipped up during the set up stage, you can leave it on the board and any card on top of it will be safe, or simply shuffle it back into the deck.
-
-
$2 options:
-
$2 simply = $2 (and play continues normally)
-
$2 = Steal 2 cards from any 2 players (and add the $2 to your wallet, too)
-
$2 automatically resets the stack to $2 regardless if you guessed correctly or not and play continues.
